Vice President of Sales
Prior to joining iPublish Media, Kim Johnson lead digital sales for some of the biggest media companies in the United States, including tronc Newspapers, iHeartMedia, Entercom, Tribune Broadcasting and more. As the SVP Digital Ad Sales at tronc, Johnson led the company-wide digital revenues for newspapers and broadcast including Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, WGN, WPIX, KTLA and more, while simultaneously running a print ad sales team at Los Angeles Times. As VP of Business Development at Hostopia, she brokered deals with resellers including MediaSpan (now Newscyle). At her own firm, Solidify Ventures, she represented multiple AdTech and SaaS solutions, selling millions of licenses to resellers including Verio (now Endurance).
As Vice President of Sales at iPublish, Kim helps media companies and SMB marketing services companies grow their top line revenue with bottom line efficiency and self-service advertising solutions that are easy to implement, flexible and reflect the lasts trends in SMB spending patterns.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Boston University. She lives Boston, MA with her fiancé (and high school sweetheart) Steve Safran. When she is not working (which truly is her hobby and life’s passion) you will find her raising money and volunteering for several cancer-related charities including St Baldrick’s Foundation, Movember Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
